Algonquin Nation Past and Present: The Land Claim Explained

A unique opportunity to hear Councillor Dan Kohoko from Eganville area’s Pikwakanagan First Nation, describe how the Canadian and Ontario governments apportioned the western Algonquin territory (Ontario’s Ottawa River watershed). Councillor Kohoko is one of 16 Algonquin Negotiation Representatives working with the Canada/Ontario negotiating team on the Algonquin Land Claim. Hear the proposal and learn how you can help.
