When MMAMR offers educational events, we charge a fee that covers our costs to bring an Indigenous speaker to provide us with insight into the history of the relationship between Indigenous and non Indigenous people in Canada.  Any income from these events that exceeds our costs – e.g. honorarium and travel costs for our speakers – we donate to a healing and reconciliation project of the speakers choice.

This has included Plenty Canada’s Cross Cultural Program, the Ardoch Nation cultural activitiesthe Pikwakanagan Cultural Centrethe Indigenous Residential Schools Suvivors Society and the Children of the  Shingwauk Alumni Association.  We invite attendees to contribute to these projects.

Tax deductible donations to support these or MMAMR activities can be made here. You can also make a donation by cheque.  Please make this out to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, put “MMAMR” on the subject line and mail it to the MMAMR treasurer:
